Marianne McKenna is a founding partner of KPMB Architects, an award winning Canadian firm distinguished by its diversity and commitment to collaboration. Marianne has emphasized the value of design for catalyzing community and vibrant public realms. Her internationally acclaimed projects include the Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Torys LLP offices in downtown Toronto and the Royal Conservatory TELUS Performance and Learning Centre, which opened to great acclaim in September 2009. Marianne has taught at McGill University, L'Université de Montréal and the University of Toronto and has been an invited speaker and guest critic at Yale University. She has juried art competitions for integrated artworks, including a series of installations at Le Quartier Concordia in Montreal. Marianne currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Contemporary Culture (ICC) for the Royal Ontario Museum.
