The first place to start in applying to ACAD is to orient yourself with the application process, dates and deadlines. Know the steps to take and when to take them.

NOTE: If the date falls on a weekend or a holiday the deadline will be the next business day.
February 1 | First Year Studies (Early Consideration) applicants-application + supporting documents due
February 15 | First Year Studies (Early Consideration) applicants-portfolio and personal statement due
March 1 | Advanced Standing applicants - applications + supporting documents due
March 15 | Advanced Standing BFA applicants - portfolio and personal statement due
March 15 - 25 | First Year Studies (Early Consideration) decisions mailed
April 1 | First Year Studies (Regular Review) applicants - applications + supporting documents due
April 10 - 20 | Advanced Standing (BFA) decisions mailed
April 15 | First Year Studies (Regular Review) applicants-portfolio and personal statement due
First Year Studies (Early Consideration) applicants - Confirmation fees due
Advanced Standing BDes applicants - portfolio and personal statement due
May 15 - 20 | First Year Studies (Regular Review) + Advanced Standing (BDes) admission decisions mailed
May 31 | Advanced Standing applicants - final transcripts due
June 15 | First Year Studies (Regular Review) + Advanced Standing (BDes)confirmation fees due
August 1 | First Year Studies applicants - Final High school transcripts due
All applicants - Official English Language Proficiency documents due
September 1 | First day applications and documents for admission to Winter Semester accepted
