Lisa Benschop is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Calgary, Alberta.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English from the University of Alberta (2000). She spent two years in Toronto, where she worked in the non-profit sector and took evening courses in creative writing and photography.  She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture at the Alberta College of Art & Design in 2008, and became Director at the Stride Gallery in the summer of 2009.  Her artistic practice is organized as the L.
